Blood wood Swift
This swift is made from bloodwood which comes from the tropical area of South America. The wood is very dense, making it heavier than most swifts. Bloodwood usually has a bright vivid red color. The color can darken to a darker brownish red overtime with exposure to sun light. This particular swift weighs approximately 9 pounds. The cross arms are 26 inches and the pegs are adjustable to accommodate a hank up to approximately 70 inches. This swift comes apart as do all my swifts for travel or storage. The bottom of the base has silicone bumpers to help prevent movement while its being used and to help prevent scuffing your furniture.
